From references in Bay Area newspapers of the time, it appears that Ravazza often performed at the St. Francis Hotel, only a few blocks from the Royal Hawaiian, and he may have played the Hawaiian as well.

The conspirators put financial pressure on Carole by sabotaging the circus, forcing it to close, then burning down her barn. But the Mesquiteers rescue the situation in extremis by entering a trick horse left over from the circus in a providential trotting race that pays just the amount of money both they (who own the ranch next door) and Carole need to avoid foreclosure. On the whole, Carole acquits herself well of the limited displays of emotion required of her, although in the one sequence in the film where she is shown for any length of time in medium close-up, careful observation shows her trying to stifle a laugh when she is supposed to be feeling indignation.
