I know most churches that use the “non” designation mean that they are not of ficially affiliated with a denomination. I much prefer “inter” because it forces me to open my tradition of the Christian faith to that of others. I grew up Southern Baptist and then spent eight years in a Presbyterian church. I am forever grateful for those experiences. I am only enriched by the different views on church structure and the sacraments (or observances, depend ing on your perspective).
