She has a background in learning disability support, SEN research and family services, with a special interest in sibling experience. Matthew Rayner is the Headteacher at Stephen Hawking School. He has worked with children with profound and multiple learning difficulties for 25 years in a number of special schools in both inner city and rural areas. Michael W. Riley is a Doctoral Candidate in Special Education at the University of South Florida. He has taught in Florida public and charter schools since 2001, serving students with a range of needs from mild to intensive.

Caroline Allen has been Principal for 19 years of Orchard Hill College which is a specialist college for students over 16 with a range of learning difficulties/disabilities. She is also CEO of Orchard Hill College Academy Trust and has held other public roles. Her PhD research related to organisation culture and management in special education. Carolyn Anderson is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Strathclyde. She has published in the fields of learning disabilities, children’s eating/drinking difficulties, speech difficulties, and professional development.

Over the last 10 years she has developed partnerships with schools in Africa, working on curriculum access. Lana Bond is a Senior Teacher at The Bridge School in Islington, North London. Lana recently completed her Masters Degree in severe and complex learning difficulties and is currently studying for the UK mandatory qualification for teaching learners with visual impairment. Her special interests include all things PMLD, Intensive Interaction and well-being. Hannah Brighton is currently in year two of the BA SEN and Inclusion Undergraduate degree at Northampton University.
